GERMAN NAMES

GERMAN NAMES

One of the most complicated decisions we will have to make when our baby is born is the name he/she will have. It’s okay if we take our time when deciding: in fact, it is one of the most important doubts that moms and dads have at that moment.

If you don’t like conventional names, it can be a good idea to start looking for names in other languages, such as German names. It is the best way to have an original name that really makes a difference.

And here I can give you a hand: I have prepared a list of an extensive series of German names for men and women, modern or temporary, common or strange, adapted to what every parent is looking for.

Why choose German language for your baby’s name?

Names in another language are exotic: many of them have their equivalence in English, but we would be talking about common appellatives. For example, it may be the case that there are other children in the same class with the same name. With first names in German or other languages, this will not happen.

In the following lines you have the names that I am going to propose, but before you start reading, you should know that they are very special: all of them have a stored meaning that is associated with success, honor, won wars, homeland and victory in general.

It is convenient to know a little about the history of each name before using it for our son, since he will carry it all his life.
